The Green Room took place every Thursday in the Hastings Common Room. This project is now dormant. A joint initiative between Energise Sussex Coast and Transition Town Hastings, funded by the Co-op Foundation and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
The Green Room was a physical space to grow a network of organisations, communities and individuals working for climate and the environment.
Each Thursday, events, workshops, meetings, activities and energy saving advice took place. The space was available for anyone to use.
The Green Room also hosted an information and resources section to enable local residents to find out about all environmental activities and how to get involved.
The Common Room is located at 27-28 Cambridge Road, Hastings, opposite ESK and next to the bus stop.
